The self-portraits shown here were commissioned by the University of Derby in England, where they will be on permanent display in the new Law Building. This trans-Atlantic connection arose out of a recent visit to San Quentin State Prison by a criminology class of the university. This program is sponsored by the William James Association, and is part of Arts in Corrections.
