This class is in the gym at DVI, with its beautiful old beamed ceiling. The students are in the early stages of a production of Hamlet. By the end of this evening, all of the play's characters will have been introduced, and the student actors will be asked to write down their preferences of which role they want to play. The class is taught by members of the Marin Shakespeare Company, Kimberley Taylor and Pamela Kaplan. It is part of the Arts in Corrections program.
