This class is taught by Gema Lopez; she is sponsored by the Fresno Arts Council. The students in this class have been collaborating with a poetry class, which is held on a different yard at the same prison.

As you might guess from the subjects of some of the men's paintings, these works will be given by the artsits to a special family member.

The class is part of Arts in Corrections (www.artsincorrections.org), which is funded by California's Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and administered by the California Arts Council.
