This class is conducted by Jail Guitar Doors, with sponsorship by the William James Association; the instructor is Jason Heath. It is a large group, and the class has evolved into two groups of students. An accordian-style vinyl wall is used to create a separate space for each. At the end of the class, everyone came together for some full-group music.

The class is part of Arts in Corrections (www.artsincorrections.org), which is funded by California's Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and administered by the California Arts Council.
